416R1SE is our annual celebration of art, the power of edutainment and Toronto’s enriched culture, join us on Saturday, April 15th 2023 as celebrate & E11EVATE the city!
COMMUNITY YOU'RE INVITED TO HELP US CHOOSE "THE CHOICE"
"THE CHOICE" EMERGING ARTIST TOURNAMENT RISE EDUTAINMENT and AFROWAVE (@afrowaveTO) are bringing together some of the hottest artists from the East to the West side of the GTA. Sixteen artists from wildly different genres will square off in the ring in this single-elimination style tournament. Only one artist will be crowned as the choice and awarded the golden gloves and cash prize. In-between this intense battle for the golden gloves there will be an ART EXHIBIT curated by HEARTH GARAGE Collective. Pieces will be shown before the start of each round with a chance to meet the artist during intermission. Come out, enjoy the show and help us decide who deserves the title of The CHOICE!
416 R.I.S.E - 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY RECAP
On April 16th we celebrate 10 YEARS OF R.I.S.E - Reaching Intelligent Souls Everywhere
Each year since our inception, we have hosted our annual ‘416RISE’ celebration, with the purpose of spreading awareness of the power of community and Edutainment. 416RISE is a culminating event that includes outstanding artists and young adults that have enriched their craft through participation in R.I.S.E programs throughout the year. It is also our way to help bridge the gap between emerging and professional artists, providing a larger platform.
RISE in the Parks
We have partnered up with @artsintheparksto to bring you a FREE virtual park event right to your home. Join us on April 1, 2022 at 7PM EST to experience - RISE in the PARKS, a showcase centered around showing love to Toronto and giving back to our communities through performance art.
